MOHAWK TRAIL STATE FOREST PRESERVES ONE OF MASSACHUSETTS' MOST RUGGED RIVER VALLEY LANDSCAPES ALONG THE COLD AND DEERFIELD RIVERS IN THE BERKSHIRE MOUNTAINS. ANCIENT HEMLOCK AND WHITE PINE GROVES โ SOME OF THE LARGEST REMAINING OLD-GROWTH TREES IN THE NORTHEAST โ TOWER OVER RIVER GORGES AND FORESTED SLOPES.
