The outdoor museum encompasses the reconstructed 17th-century State House, the Maryland Dove sailing vessel replica, period tobacco plantation, and active archaeological excavations that reveal the physical reality of early colonial Chesapeake life. Both interior and exterior filming are available, including the State House chambers, Maryland Dove deck, and waterfront grounds.
